Our first photobooth picture as a family.

Justin and I are huge fans of photobooths. That’s why we rented one for our wedding reception — really, probably my most favorite part of the entire shebang and worth every penny.

Ah, good times. You can justify the cost of a photobooth by rationalizing that it serves as both entertainment and your guests’ favors, as they get to take home copies of their photobooth portraits.

ANYWAY, I digress. On Tuesday, we went to the Chicago Children’s Museum, on Navy Pier, after picking Grandma up from the airport. Navy Pier sports all of the gratuitous tourist crap, so we were totally excited to find a photobooth in working condition — every time we’ve seen one previously it’s been out of order.

It was at the end of a long day and they both needed a nap, badly, but once they saw their faces in the little video monitor, they were golden.

In other news, we’re busy visiting with Grandma and trying to get chores done around here…will report on the Children’s Museum when I get a little more time.

Happy Spring!

I’d say your first photobooth adventure was a success! Those pictures are GREAT!
