Jack finds success on the big kid slide.

So as has been reported here, Emme has been doing the big-kid slide by herself for some time now; Jack, on the other hand, has been more hesitant to give it a try. About three weeks ago, he spent a while mulling over whether or not he wanted to attempt it one morning.

Luckily, they were the only kids at the park that day, because he stayed in this position for about five or six minutes. His sister was the only one trying to slide and she was pushy enough to get right by him.

I guess the self- pep talk worked, because he hauled himself up the ladder to the top of the slide!

Then, he got a little nervous.

I had to explain to him that there was only one way down at this point, and it wasn’t the way he came.

While he was contemplating his options, little Miss Pushy breezed by.

I think it was just the impetus he needed, because he let go and came down!

And at this point, the boy is an old pro.

Pushing by his sister instead of the other way around…

And enjoying every second of the ride.

Go, Jack, go!

I’m sure the Spider-Man shirt helped…

Photo frenzy! I love it! I cannot believe how much Jack is changing! He’s looking more Mini-Justin if that’s even possible! Way to go, Jack!
